Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Delivery Zone

Instakart operates as a hyperlocal delivery service. Orders are delivered only within the active Delivery Zone, defined as a configurable radius from the store's location. The delivery zone is verified using your device's GPS coordinates at the time of order placement.

If your delivery address falls outside the delivery zone, you will not be able to place an order. The delivery zone radius is set by the store administrator and may change based on operational capacity.

2. Delivery Timings

  • Operating Hours: Delivery is available during the store's operating hours, typically 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM IST. Hours may vary by store and are displayed in the app.
  • Estimated Delivery Time: Most orders are delivered within 30–60 minutes of order confirmation, depending on order size, distance, and demand.
  • Delays: Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to high demand, weather conditions, traffic, or operational constraints.

3. Delivery Fee

  • A delivery fee may be charged based on the order value and distance from the store. The exact fee is displayed at checkout before you confirm the order.
  • Free delivery may be offered on orders above a minimum value, as configured by the store.
  • The delivery fee is non-refundable unless the order is cancelled before dispatch or cancelled by us.

4. Minimum Order Value

A minimum order value may apply to place an order. This value is set by the store administrator and is displayed in the app. Orders below the minimum value cannot be placed.

5. Delivery Process

  1. Order Placed: You place an order through the Instakart app and make payment.
  2. Order Confirmed: The store accepts and begins preparing your order.
  3. Order Picked Up: A delivery partner is assigned and picks up the order from the store.
  4. Out for Delivery: The delivery partner is on the way. You can track the delivery in real-time via the app.
  5. Delivered: The order is handed over to you at your delivery address.

6. Delivery Tracking

Once your order is out for delivery, you can track the delivery partner's location in real-time on the map within the app. You will also receive push notifications for each status update.

7. Receiving Your Order

  • You (or someone at the delivery address) must be available to receive the order.
  • The delivery partner may contact you via phone if they are unable to locate the address.
  • If you are unreachable after reasonable attempts (calls, waiting), the delivery partner may mark the order as undeliverable and return it to the store.
  • Orders returned due to customer unavailability are not eligible for refund.

8. Damaged or Missing Items

If you receive damaged, spoiled, or missing items, please report the issue within 24 hours through the app or by contacting us at sidharth@devlune.in. Refunds for such issues are handled per our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

9. No Shipping Outside Delivery Zone

Instakart does not offer shipping or courier-based delivery. All deliveries are handled by local delivery partners within the active delivery zone. We do not ship products to other cities, states, or countries.
